The Albany Gay Men's Chorus
Lift Your Voice and Sing!
The Albany Gay Men's Chorus (AGMC) was founded in the spring of 2008 by a small group of men who were inspired by other gay men's choruses in Boston, NY City as well as the Turtle Creek Choral in Texas. We wanted to see if we could create our own Gay Men's Chorus. Four years later we are thriving. We've increased our membership and have had great support from the community. Our repertoire is varied from POP, Broadway, and some classical. There's always something for everyone!
Lead by Director Chris Clark, he has great credentials and brings a whole new energy to the group.
We rehearse Tuesday evenings at the First Lutheran Church on Western Avenue in Albany. All men are welcome, there are no audition but our director will do a voice placement to determine which section any new singers would fit in. We are always looking for new members.
